Darwen News Lancashire, Another Liberal title, the Darwen News was first published in the Lancashire market town of Darwen in 1874. Circulating extensively among all classes in the town and the surrounding districts, this newspaper printed the latest from the likes of the Darwen Petty Sessions and the Preston Quarter Sessions.
